Ocean City MD Beach Wedding Archway, Chair and Rental Ideas
|Polynesian Princess Beach Set Up & Extra Chairs|
Maryland’s gorgeous beaches should consider renting a beach set that includes an archway and white chairs. In addition to “marking your territory”, a beach set up adds structure and romance to your ceremony. The wedding runner and and chairs create an
aisle. The archway, palm trees and tiki torches help the wedding party line up correctly. The visual effect alerts other’s on the Ocean City beach that a wedding ceremony is in progress (Especially for joggers listening to their i-pods or old men with metal detectors and headphones) . For the best visual effect, try to place the archway as close to the ocean as you can without any chance of getting wet. Early

in the morning is the best opportunity for a front row set up. During the hours of 9-5, lifeguards are on duty and Ocean City beach wedding ceremonies must be conducted outside of these times. If you are having an evening ceremony, it may be tricky to get a prime spot by the water as families and avid beach goers beginning camping out around 8:30 AM. Our recommendation is to assign one of your wedding guests a very special task: Hit the beach early with a big blanket and chairs right by the edge of the ocean and soak in the sun for most of the day until you’re ready for a changing of the guard. you would like them to set up the Archway and chair rentals and they’ll take care of the rest. The closer you are to the water, the less likely you’ll have anyone behind you in the pictures.
The best bet for a successful beach wedding set up is to keep it simple. The first measure of success is not blowing in the ocean. You may see pictures on the internet of elaborate archways with billowing sails of cloth. While that may work in the Caribbean or the South Pacific, that approach is usually unrealistic on the Ocean City MD beach. Our strong breezes are great for keeping the wedding party cool on a warm day, but wreak havoc on flimsy or overly ornate archways.
|Creative Signs are always Fun!|
The Polynesian Princess Beach Set Up has never blown into the Atlantic Ocean since we began offering it back in 2006. Consisting of a Flowered Bamboo Archway, Two Palm Trees, Six Tiki Torches, a White Wedding Runner Carpet, Eight White Wedding Chairs (Additional Chairs are only $5 each), a Table and White Linen for your optional Sand Unity Ceremony the Polynesian Princess also includes a Sound System and Ceremony DJ to play your Processional, Wedding March and Recessional Music. You’ll also get a First Dance on the Beach for your Ocean City Wedding Video! Complete set up and breakdown of the archway, wedding chairs and everything else we set up is included. There is no delivery charge and no hidden fees.
If you’d like to add your personal touches to the beach wedding set up, we encourage you to be as creative as you like. Feel free to incorporate chair covers, ribbons, balloons, shells or signs – we even had one bride line the aisle with pumpkins during an October OC Beach Ceremony. If you are planning your own embellishments, please contact Ocean City Wedding Officiant Sean Rox or Beach Wedding Planner Cassandra
